Pregnancy Update
I am happy to report that I am definitely adjusting to pregnant life. I am currently in my 17th week of pregnancy…almost to the half way point! The first trimester was a little rough. I was very tired and dealt with a lot of nausea. My second trimester kicked off with a nasty cold. I am so thankful that the cold is gone and my energy level has picked up.
Workouts while pregnant seem different. I think it is more mental than anything. Every time I go into a jumping jack I think “oh little baby am I hurting you!”. I know I am not but I cannot help but think it. I am really focusing on staying active and eating right. My sister is pregnant and she is dealing with gestational diabetes and I really do not want to get to that point. I feel so sorry that she is dealing with it.
I have a doctors appointment next week and my ultrasound is two weeks after that. We are so excited to find out the sex of the baby. I will be counting the days until then!

Glad to get an update and hear that you are doing well! How is the financial situation? What type of workouts do you do while pregnant? What is considered safe and unsafe as far as physical activity is concerned? Glad to see you are back on the radar. I’m a huge fan, you are a big inspiration to me. You are still my favorite contestant BL has ever had

Wow. I can’t believe you’re almost half way through your pregnancy. You are going to be an amazing mother! Also can’t wait to hear what you guys are having. Either way, boy or girl, you guys are blessed!

So glad your pregnancy is going well. You will be scheduled for a glucose test soon too. Don’t stress too much over it. I know you don’t want to deal with gestational diabetes, but it really is no reflection on you. Skinny people get gestational diabetes too. In fact, my dietitian who eats right and works out every day had it throughout all four of her pregnancies. I really hope you don’t have it because it is stressful, but you are used to keeping a food diary and counting your fat, calorie and carb intake. If you do have to deal with it, that part, which most people find annoying, would be quite easy for you. Good luck to you, hubby and of course, the little bub!! I can’t wait to see the “It’s a Boy/Girl” posting in a few weeks!
